SINOCMC Team Wins Third Prize in the Badminton Tournament

On the afternoon of October 16, the “Flying with Badminton, Uniting at 1688” — the 1st Badminton Tournament, hosted by Zhongyi 1688 Industrial Park came to a successful close at the Tengyun Badminton Stadium inside the park. A total of 12 corporate teams and 48 athletes gathered here to build friendship through sports and strengthen cohesion with competition. Their passion and sweat ignited the sporting spirit of this autumn.

Making Friends Through Badminton: 12 Teams Make Their Debut

This tournament adopted a mixed-team format, with each match following a best-of-three system. The playing sequence was mixed doubles, men’s singles and women’s singles. Before the games kicked off, all teams were fully prepared. With the opening serve ceremony delivered by leaders from the park and its resident enterprises, warm applause broke out and the competition officially began.

Thrilling Highlights: Shuttlecocks in Flight, Passionate Contests

At 13:00, upon the referee’s whistle, matches started simultaneously across four courts. Mixed doubles, men’s singles and women’s singles took turns. White shuttlecocks traced sharp arcs in the air. Athletes leaped, pivoted and smashed powerfully. Delicate net shots, deep clears and fierce smashes were displayed one after another, creating endless spectacular moments.

Cheers of “Great shot!” and “Come on!” echoed from teammates and spectators beside the courts. Mixed doubles tested the coordination between partners; men’s singles featured speed and strength; women’s singles demonstrated exquisite techniques and perseverance. Every point was intense, and every game was fought with full commitment.

Moment of Glory

After an afternoon of fierce, fair and impartial competition, the final rankings of all events were announced. The SINOCMC team won the third prize in the team event. On the award stage, winning athletes received their honors and growth. Inside and outside the court, all participants sweated freely, gaining health and joy.
